Biography

LD Madera is a creative powerhouse known for crafting unforgettable experiences through improvisation, magic, and storytelling. 

​

LD was born and raised in Miami, FL.  During his childhood, the one thing he knew for certain was that he loved to entertain.  Whether is was singing a song at his First Communion, turning a book report into a comedy sketch, or even singing Jon Secada songs in class (yes, I actually did that!), LD had a love for putting on a show and entertaining everyone.  During his teenage years, LD performed with Coconut Grove Children's Theater under the direction of his mentor Corky Dozier.  It was during this time that his skills as a performer and his enthusiasm for theater began to take shape. LD later attended Barry University, where he graduated with a BA in Arts focusing on Theater.

After college, LD has appeared in various stage productions, which include The Man Who Came to DinnerThe Odd CoupleSongs for a New World, as well as multiple Children's Theater productions with Actor's Playhouse in Coral Gables, FL.  LD also was in an upper midwest touring production of Cerano and Don Quixote.

LD showcases a passion for connection and authenticity, inspiring audiences everywhere.  Whether on stage, in podcasts, or other creative ventures, he redefines how stories are told and shared.
